Glamorous Office Custom Mood Board

Could your home office use some glamor? Then you’ll want to get your hands on this latest custom mood board. It includes a few of my favorite pieces (the Wisteria candle holder and brand new Pottery Barn Architect’s Drafting Table) and many more that were new to me like the gorgeous artwork.

If you’d like to add some glitz, the Gold-Leaf Chest from Horchows will stow plenty of office supplies in grandeur, and the rug from Anthropolgie adds just a tiny splash of playful pattern underfoot.

Glam Custom Office Mood Board

Products featured:

  1. Horchow Gold Leaf Chest. We thought about mirrored furniture, but decided this piece was a little more sophisticated. Plus, it’s got plenty of space for all your office knick-knacks.
  2. Gallery 820 Crystal Pendant. This sparkler is long on style and still has a modern vibe perfect for a home office. Plus, at 48″ long, it’ll make a dramatic statement in your space and cast lots of light with 11 light bulbs.
  3. The Anthropologie Doily Rug was our inspiration piece. It’s not exactly traditional home office (but we can’t be the only ones tired of “traditional” home office, can we?), but rather brings a playful punch of purple into the space. And we love those scalloped edges!
  4. This made-to-order abstract original painting by Adam Oriti is simply lovely with its gold-leafed canvas. Plus, by splitting the piece into two, it gives a more dramatic look to your office space without requiring much more wall space.
  5. You can’t do glam without a piece from Z Gallerie and the Leaning Borghese Mirror will look oh-so-sophisticated in this glamorous office. Plus, it’s a great price for the size–it’s 37.5 inches wide and a full 68.5 tall. Mirrors are great in an office to bounce light around and make a space seem bigger. They can also help boost visibility if you sit with your back to a door.
  6. This set of two plush velvet chairs is perfect for visitors, or for an occassional chair when you don’t want to perch on the drafting stool.
  7. The Coopers Draftsman Stool from Wisteria is even on sale (and it’s a steal of a price!) right now. It’s great because it’s adjustable, and also has an old-fashioned patina.
  8. Pottery Barn’s brand new Architect’s Drafting Table is really adjustable making it perfect for any kind of design work. Plus, the large workspace is great if you tend to like to spread your work out. It’s a full sixty inches wide so it can even do double duty as a dining room table when you have lots of guests… But something tells me, you won’t want to let it out of your office.
  9. These Signature Collection Double Banded Drapes are done up in silk. For this space, we like the charcoal gray which just so happens to be on sale a the moment. Since drapes are pricey, sales are definitely a good thing!
  10. Wisteria again with the “Did Someone Say Drama” candle holder. It holds 20 tapers and will definitely amp up the mood lighting in your office.
  11. West Elm offers this cushy Sheepskin Pouf perfect for lounging with the laptop. If you have an especially pampered pooch (or cat) it could also double as a bed for your four-legged-friend.
  12. No office is complete (or should be) without fresh flowers and nothing says drama like the White Phalaenopsis Orchid.
  13. For this room, we selected Benjamin Mooreâ„¢ Lancaster Whitewash for the walls and Benjamin Mooreâ„¢ White Dove for the trim. Accents would look lovely in Dutch Boyâ„¢ Mermaid Den.

Which of these pieces is your favorite? Did we leave out something quintessentially office glam that you’d like to add?
